There was a post on the Planet Chiropractic Blog Pages last week about a chiropractor in San Diego that had taken images from the planetc1.com website without permission and had used them at the top of his chiropractic homepage.

I was just checking SE reports for geo-targeted areas and discovered the blog post had pulled the #1 position on google when searching the term “San Diego Chiropractic Website” and “San Diego Chiropractor Website.” Results from at least one data center show the PC1 blog page getting some traction on the term “San Diego Chiropractor” although that is not expected to last long since the post is dated and the term has strong PR positions for other chiropractic websites.

The result of the post will probably split the divide between positions 10 and under (at least for the short term). Websites towards the top will probably get “pushed” to higher positions leaving the chiropractic image stealing web owner in a place lower than desired.

I believe the chiropractic homepage lesson here is don’t take images without permission (especially of other chiropractors) and then post them to your chiropractic website homepage (even if the woman in the photo is a knockout).
