I am seeing more chiropractors advertise their local offices through contextual ad programs such as those offered by google, yahoo, and MSN.

An important thing that I think many chiropractors do not realize (until the frst billing statement comes in) is that they should be limiting the radius that their ads will appear on so that advertisments for chiropractic services in Pennsylvania are not showing up on web screens in California (and possibly every other state).

Today I noticed an advertisment for an office in Wayne, PA called the “Westside Wellness Chiropractic Center.” Chances are they are not aware that ads they are placing are appearing in other states. That would be fine if they were selling product but it’s probably a waste of money when wanting to promote services for the local area.

In Los Angeles I have seen ads for offices in Alaska, Pennsylvania, Chicago, New York, and many other locations not in the state of California.

So, make sure you are limiting the radius of where ads appear so that your chiropractic ads are not appearing on websites in other states and potentially costing you valuable ad dollars.
